This letter is long overdue. Even though you finished our beautiful screened-in porch last October, it has only been in the past few months that we have been able to truly appreciate what a wonderful addition it is to our home. This has prompted us to offer some of our thoughts about your work with us and hope that you will share them with future clients. Sharon found your company in an ad that indicated you did design and remodeling, but we had no other references. The first thing that impressed us was the manner in which you responded to our inquiry.

You made two preliminary trips to our home at no expense or commitment to us. You were always on time, listened carefully to our desires, never rushed us, presented ideas and options, and clarified exactly what we should expect in a contract. You shared photos of your work and demonstrated a professional pride in what you do. On your third visit you presented detailed plans, a contract and explained how you, your carpenter, and architect would work with us. We felt very much at ease due to your thorough preparation. Throughout the project you more than lived up to everything you promised.

David, the carpenter, was superb! He was a knowledgeable craftsman who took enormous pride in his work with an attention to detail that was impressive. He was truly a delight to work with. He included details that we never would have thought of. Never was there any skimping on materials or effort, in fact, if ever a porch was overbuilt, this was it. He kept our yard neat and clean each day so that building mess was kept to a minimum. We also had no disagreement with the other workers (painter, mason, and electrician). Each did his job professionally.

The result is a true compliment to DesignLine. The porch fits into our home as though it was there from the start.The quality of the work and materials gives us the confidence that it will hold up and be a real asset to our house. We very much enjoyed the relationship we had with you and with David throughout the project. We never felt rushed or pressured. It is clear that we received a top-grade job and at what we believe was a reasonable cost. We have already recommended you to several friends and would not hesitate to do so again. You will certainly be the first one we call for the next project.

I chose DesignLine to totally gut and remodel my master bathroom, remodel my kitchen (only thing I kept was the tile floor), build a screened porch with a stone fireplace, and install a built-in desk area in our den. I chose DesignLine from several other companies because I had a big job and wanted someone who I thought could not only do it all but would do it all to my satfisfaction. I was not disappointed.
