Kitchen Makeover Richmond VA Home
In this project, the customer had a very outdated kitchen and wanted to have a complete kitchen makeover. They asked us to reconfigure the current kitchen set-up. We started with demoing the project then replacing the single window over the existing sink with a new Low-E double hung M & W window with grills between the glass. We then removed the existing triple window and replaced it with a shorter double hung unit.
We installed nine new 6” recessed lights in the kitchen ceiling and two new lights over the island.
We had a new propane line installed in the kitchen so our customer could have a gas range.
We moved the sink to the exterior wall underneath the new window.
We installed new Elmwood Coventry, full access, paint grade cabinets with a 3” rail and a 3/8” for both the perimeter and island cabinets. The perimeter cabinets were finished with a Dove White finish and the island cabinets were finished with Caviar paint. The interior of all the cabinets were finished with a wood print melamine finish.
New prefinished hardwood flooring was installed in the kitchen.
The Countertop is Silestone Alpine White and the sink is a Kohler White Haven Apron Front.
Our carpenter custom made the backsplash behind the stove to the customer’s specification. It was made out of the quartz countertop material.
Notice the cantilever shelving in the corner. This shelving is great for displaying your dinnerware and other items.
